Health Coaching: Free Intro Call


Free 30 minute call to discuss the coaching process and how it may benefit you.


Health Coaching and Diabetes Coaching is not right for everyone. It requires commitment and a willingness to change. The checklist at the bottom of this page can help you decide if you are ready to be coached.

This 30 minute call is designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of what coaching is and more importantly what it isn’t. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to find out if your issue is something that can be helped through coaching.

You will not be asked to commit to any sessions during or after the call. Maryke will send you an information pack after the call that you can look through in your own time. If you decide that coaching can help you achieve your goals, you can book your first health coaching session through the website.

Are you Ready, Willing and Able to be coached?


1.    I have time to invest in myself.
2.    I can make and keep appointments with myself to work on this material.
3.    There is a gap between where I am now and where I want to be.


4.    I am fully willing to do the work required to get me where I want to go.
5.    I am willing to stop or change the self-defeating behaviours that limit my success.
6.    I am willing to try new things even if I am not 100% convinced they will work.


7.    Coaching is the appropriate discipline for the changes I want to make.
8.    I have the patience to take consistent action towards my goals, regardless of how immediate the results are.
9.    I have the support I need to make significant changes.


If you have answered no to two of more of these questions, you will need to make adjustments before coaching can be effective.
